I'm a programmer and 40k enthusiast who builds hobby apps for fun. I play Thousand Sons and Tzeentch daemons because space magic is the best magic. Those are my two armies in 40k. I don't need a third army. I don't. Ask me again next codex release. I just want to paint one Knight. And maybe some Orruks. This is fine.

I don't have a lot of time, so I lean into grimdark styles that let me be messy and productive. Oil washes and pigment powders are my favorite tools. I can't stand precise basecoating, but edge highlighting is weirdly meditative.

My current Kill Teams are Warp Coven, Vespids, Battleclade, Pathfinders, Stealth Suits, Chaos Cult, and Spectre Squad. Yes, that's too many. No, I will not be stopping.

This chaos cult team started when I couldn't run cultists in 40k anymore. Chaos cults are a expensive three box kill team but since I already had 20+ cultists I already had the models. The mutants were all kitbashed from other models and daemon bits I own. My favorite is tentacle face which is a Lord of Change toungue. The Torments are prints I found on Etsy. I wanted the team to be more horrifying than the stock models. The Blessed Blades are AoS models I had lying around.
